The interface between the health of women and children has heightened concerns in the society; their frail and vulnerable healthcare makes the issue even more absorbing.
Ailing health can pose a knotty challenge especially for people of little or no financial means. Unfortunately, majority of our rural women and children are poor and can hardly, without adequate succor, prevent or remedy diseases which their indigence predisposes them. Needless to mention the case of the orphans, abandoned and the less-privileged in the society which is not only knotty but critical.
It is nightmarish to imagine that a lot of women and children die daily of preventable and treatable diseases only because they are helpless. Someone could have made a difference. Someone can also give life and hope to numerous indigent and abandoned children and orphans who could have been useful to themselves and the society had someone seen the need to live for others.
Today, some of these children, in their helplessness, have constituted a threat to themselves and the society while others have snowballed into a nuisance with only as much a chance for survival as can only be offered by the compassionates.
Rhabi Women Health Center/Motherless Home is determined to give hope to these hopeless citizens of our society, alleviating their suffering and making a meaning out of their lives.
